Introduction

Welcome to this anonymous survey of IBD nurses and nurses that care for patients with IBD patients across Europe. The aim of this survey is to understand the impact of COVID-19 on IBD care services across Europe.

A survey was circulated earlier this year which focused on the IBD advice line. This survey is different in that it seeks to understand impact of COVID-19 more broadly across all IBD care services as well as the impact of COVID-19 on you and your delivery of care to people with IBD.

Please complete this survey, it should only take 15-20 minutes. The survey is organised into four sections;

- All about you;
- The people with IBD you work with;
- IBD services and resources for people with IBD in your area;
- Your work and yourself personally.

The information you provide will be very important. Please answer questions freely, as the information you provide is anonymous and confidential.

About us

We are a team of researchers from the Florence Nightingale Faculty of Nursing, Midwifery and Palliative Care at King’s College London and from the University of Greenwich.  In collaboration with the Nurses European Crohn’s and Colitis Organisation (N-ECCO) we have established a pan-European consortium of IBD nurses / nurses that care for patients with IBD to conduct this survey. We have ethical approval from King’s College London to conduct this survey. The results will be available via N-ECCO, as well as professional journals.
