Page 1: Introduction to the King's Medicine and Dentistry Lecture Series 2023
Welcome to the application form for the King's College London Medicine and Dentistry Lecture Series 2023. Lectures will be held online on Tuesday evenings at 6:00-7:15pm and will run in blocks of three to four lectures throughout 2022. You only need to apply to the programme once. If accepted, you will be invited the entire programme of lectures.
The first three lectures will take place on the 31st January, 7th February, and 14th February. The remaining three blocks of lectures will take place in Spring and Summer.
Over the course of the lecture series you will hear from a variety of guest speakers from different specailites in medicine and dentistry. You will also learn about the application process with sessions on the UCAT, Personal Statements, and Interviews.
Those who come to 50% of our live lectures will recieve a certificate of participation.
The deadline to complete your application is Friday 16th December 2022.
Before starting your application, please ensure that you are eligible for the programme. Students must:
- be in Year 11, 12, or 13 as of September 2022, or on a gap year prior to applying to university.
- attended only non-selective state schools, sixth forms, or colleges since age 11.
Ideally you are also currently studying (or have studied) biology or chemistry, or are completing the access to medicine programme.
PLEASE NOTE: THIS APPLICATION WILL TAKE 5-10 MINUTES TO COMPLETE AND MUST BE COMPLETED IN FULL AS IT IS NOT POSSIBLE TO RETURN TO THE FORM.
