Complete this form to apply for the Pathway Led Activity Fund (PLAF). Each LISS DTP Pathway is allocated an initial £5,000 per annum to develop and deliver a range of cohort development activities that are open to students both within and across the pathways. Additional funding may be provided for activities once the initial allocation has been spent. 

Example activities may include, but are not limited to: workshops, retreats, reading groups or guest lectures. Pathway activities may be organised by LISS funded students or Pathway Leads, but should be approved and submitted by Pathway Leads.  You are encouraged to organise at least one career or employability-oriented event each year.

We are very happy to receive applications to co-fund events with other DTPs or other organisations. Click the + more info link to access guidance notes on completing the application.

PLAF Applications will be reviewed 4 times a year on the first working Monday of January, April, June and October each year. Decisions will take up to 2 weeks to announce and will be confirmed by liss-dtp@kcl.ac.ukIn the case of a Bank Holiday or university closure day, applications will be processed the next working day. Please allow up to 30 working days for Institutional Finance teams to process the transfer request.

Note that you are required to:

1. supply a description and registration details to be posted on the LISS website and social media and,

2. generate an attendance list showing how many participants were ESRC- funded to fulfill LISS DTP reporting requirements.

Please note that beyond assisting with publicity, LISS DTP regrets it cannot assist with administration of the activity or the processing of financial payments incurred.
